Two plus months later...

On May 22nd of this year, I was laid off from Nike after 12 years. Here's the thing - I wasn't happy in my job, I had never intended to make a career at Nike, it's summertime in Portland and I have 2 itty-bitty kids to hang out with. But, it's the worst economic situation in my lifetime, I have no idea what I do want to do for a career, and being a "stay-at-home" mom drives me nuts. I am blogging it all out - making my way through unemployment, figuring out what I want to do with my life, and how to be a good "housewife" in the meantime.
